Nothing is. Yes, that's a brown E-Type Couple parked in the driveway or a small mansion.
Let me set the scene here. I live in Wichita, KS. not the home of old money. Here, I'm in the Riverside district, beside the large Arkansas river (pronounced ARE-Kansas, because we don't acknowledge the existence of Arkansas.) There are many nice little old 1900s houses in the area, but there are only 7 houses in the whole city that are actually riverfront.
It's the big one, that backs up to the river...
In an area where most are lucky to have a detached two-car garage seconds from collapsing due to sheer oldness, this man has six stalls, and then some. Many wealthy people choose to live in wealthy neighborhoods that are much safer. Riverside may be scenic, but is surrounded by some less-than-attractive areas. However, that doesn't deter old money, oh no.
I'm amazed the driveway isn't gated to keep undesirables out.

If you like old money, you should drive through Highland Park sometime.

Which is precisely why I avoid it. If I'm going "North Shore," I'll take Evanston thank you very much. But there are some great cars driving around up in HP.

After looking at Google Maps, I'd totally live there.
I actually lived in Downtown Chicago for like 2 months doing a J-Term class at Columbia Chicago. I didn't have wheels when I was there, otherwise I would've checked out Highland Park.
I also probably would've gone broke paying for parking downtown.

I was actually referring to Highland Park, TX but the one in Illinois is quite nice as well.

Oh hell, I've been there before. My sister lived in Dallas.
I still think the whole back alleyway garage thing is so weird in Dallas/Plano.
I never saw that til I went to DFW.

Oh cool.
It is quite odd but I guess it works for some people.
